Installation

1. Select the base material. Determine whether the hanger bolt will be installed directly into wood or into concrete or masonry using a suitable nylon wall plug. Check that the substrate can support the expected loads.

2. Prepare the fixing position. For timber installation, drill a suitable pilot hole if required. For concrete or masonry installation, drill a hole of the correct diameter and depth for the selected wall plug. Thoroughly remove drilling dust and insert the wall plug.

3. Install the hanger bolt. Screw the wood-threaded end of the M8×110 mm hanger bolt into the wooden substrate or the installed nylon wall plug. Use a suitable installation tool and the driving section provided on the hanger bolt. Leave the required length of M8 machine thread exposed.

4. Attach the mounting component. Screw the wall-mounted handrail bracket, glass holder or another compatible component with an M8 internal thread onto the exposed machine thread. Position and secure the component according to its manufacturer's installation requirements.

Important: The nylon wall plug is sold separately. When installing into concrete or masonry, select a wall plug compatible with the hanger bolt dimensions and the base material. Before installation, verify the substrate condition, expected loads and fixing component compatibility. A2 / AISI 304 stainless steel is suitable for many standard indoor and outdoor environments. However, coastal areas, swimming pools and other locations exposed to higher chloride concentrations may require fasteners with greater corrosion resistance, such as A4 / AISI 316 stainless steel.
