Installation

1. Mark the fixing positions. Position the railing post base plate or mounting plate of the metal structure on the concrete surface and mark all four mounting hole locations.

2. Drill the holes. Use a hammer drill with a Ø8 mm concrete drill bit to drill four holes at the marked positions. The drilling depth must comply with the anchor manufacturer's installation requirements. Thoroughly remove drilling dust and debris from the holes.

3. Insert the anchors. Insert the four M8×90 mm wedge anchors into the drilled holes and carefully tap them into position using a steel-headed hammer. Keep the nuts threaded onto the anchors during tapping to help protect the threads.

4. Secure the structure. Position the mounting plate over the anchors, install the washers and nuts, and tighten them using a suitable wrench. Apply the tightening torque specified by the anchor manufacturer. Tightening activates the expansion mechanism, securing the anchors inside the concrete.

Before installation, verify the concrete condition, expected loads, minimum edge distances, anchor spacing and the manufacturer's installation requirements. Using four anchors does not automatically guarantee the required load-bearing capacity; suitability depends on the specific installation conditions.
